Extended-Term Storage | Voluntary & Prohibited-Person Storage
At ShootSoCal Firearms, we offer secure, extended-term storage for firearms and ammunition when life circumstances require you to temporarily give up possession of your firearms.

Whether you're dealing with a restraining order, a temporary firearm restriction, a personal crisis, or another situation that requires extended storage, we're here to help.
​
We offer both voluntary and prohibited-person firearm storage in our secure, alarm-protected facility, equipped with 24-hour audio and video surveillance.
​
All firearms are handled in accordance with California State and Federal laws and processed through the California Department of Justice's DROS Entry System (DES), as required.
​
Please Note: Our storage service is intended for individuals who need to store firearms for an extended period due to legal, personal, or safety-related circumstances. We do not offer everyday firearm storage or short-term safekeeping.

FIREARM STORAGE POLICY
All firearms are stored in accordance with applicable California State and Federal laws.
California Penal Code § 29830 establishes the legal requirements for firearm storage involving prohibited persons.
STORAGE PRICING
$35
per firearm / month

Additional Processing Fee
$37.19 one-time DROS fee, in order to return firearms

Firearm release is subject to applicable legal requirements and any additional required fees.

Firearm Release Requirements:
All firearms must undergo the required DROS/background check process and a mandatory 10-day waiting period before being released to the owner.
